You've got to LOVE Costco...

I mean really, where else can you get 54 Kellogg's Rice Krispies Treats for $7.99?? And the answer is...Nowhere!! But seriously, my daughter Kendall is obsessed with this very snack at the moment. I myself am not such a fan. So here is my tip of the day...make them from SCRATCH!! Yes, I know it takes time and most of us do not have time on our sides, but trust me...your taste buds will thank you!! And it couldn't be an easier from scratch recipe...so here you go direct from www.ricekrispies.com.
Enjoy!!

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 package, (10 ounce, about 40) Marshmallows
-OR-

Directions:
1. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

2. Add KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated.

3. Using buttered spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cool. Cut into 2-inch squares. Best if served the same day.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
